How to Narrow Down Your Niche:

• Consider subtopics within your broader area of interest. For instance, within health and wellness, you could focus on yoga for beginners or plant-based diets or if you have a focus on AI automation, it could be automating sales funnels associated with social media channels.

• Identify specific problems or pain points within your chosen niche to address.

Step 2 - Understand Your Audience's Problems

Immerse yourself in your chosen niche. Attend events, webinars, and meetups or if you don’t have time for those you can do something extremely effective and join relevant online communities. Your mission is to have meaningful conversations with people in your niche and uncover their most pressing problems. Connecting with people in an organic and authentic manner is 100x more powerful that the scattergun approach, “casting you net far and wide, hoping for the best to happen”.

Valuable Problem Solution Scenarios

• Example 1 - In the personal finance niche, your audience may struggle with budgeting. Offer solutions such as creating a budgeting spreadsheet, saving strategies or investment tips (not direct financial advice) big no, no if you are not qualified to do so.

• Example 2 - In the digital marketing niche, businesses might need help with SEO. Provide solutions like keyword research techniques or on-page optimization strategies.

If you are not capturing data, you are doing it the wrong way!

• Why Engagement Matters - Having 5,000 engaged members who are genuinely interested in your content and offerings is more valuable than 300,000 passive followers. Engaged members are more likely to convert into loyal customers and advocates. They actively participate, share your content, and contribute to your community's growth. These are simple facts.

Step 4 - Create a Service Business

As your audience grows, consider offering your expertise as a service. Create a simple landing page, set up payment collection, and assist those who are a few steps behind you in your niche. At the end of things make sure you value your own time above anything else, it is awesome to help others but think of how they might be able to help you if the value you provide them is having a positive impact on their life and business.

Step 5 - Productize Your Solution

Document the top 10 challenges you've solved and create valuable content around them, such as a video course or an eBook. You don't need fancy equipment, just the basics to get started.
